This comic depicts Wall Street as the ice skater and the Rating Agencies as the judges. The irony of this is that even when Wall Street throws around garbage the Rating Agencies still score it as ”10″ ratings, the highest possible.

Wall Street is paying their salaries so how could they possibly give any other score if that is who they are dependent on?

The proponent of “Climate Change” sees the fire coming through the ice and indicates that this is proof even more proof of a climate change. Whereas, the opponent disregards what is right in front of his face.

It just shows how blatantly obvious it is that the climate is changing and how many even when the proof is handed to them or witness it first hand that it is ignored.

The irony of this comic is that grease is needed for a squeaky wheel. This is the indication that this wheel will need the attention and fixing. The play on words is that Greece the country is what truly needs the attention due to the economy.

The wagon as Europe represents how Europe is going along smoothly and strongly with Greece as the exception is struggling.

In one aspect Amadinejad is heading to the U.N. , a body of peace and unity that stresses for countires and nations to get along. On the other hand, in the comic he has explosives symbolizing the atomic bomb that is currently under construction.

The contradiction is that in Iran Amadinejad said that the nuclear program is geared towards energy and peaceful methods when in reality the world fears that he is creating a nuclear bomb.

Mr. Garbus I felt was definitely taking a dangerous risk to support that these people get the right to speak freely under the First Amendment. I do believe that he set an example for all that even if it is horendous what these people practice, say, or believe they should have the right to say what they want. For instance, many may not agree with my opinions or I may not agree with another individuals opinons. This should not take away myself or the individuals right to say what we want. It is a very slippery slope. If you ban the Nazi’s who is next? And who is the judge?

What this cartoon illustrates is how Goldman Sachs is so corrupt in their way of business. It shows how Goldman Sachs has yet to stop fraudulent practices and even against the S.E.C. when they were caught the man in the cartoon says how they will just do it again to them as well.

The Tom Toles, the artist shows how he takes it even further by getting the S.E.C., the overruling agency,  is involved with Goldman Sachs. This is just how terrible they are.

The Supreme Court allowed the activity of the Lobbyists being able to go in to actually lobby the Congressmen and the Senators. People found this to be a strange decree from the Supreme Court. So what this man in the cartoon is doing is taking it one step further and saying that first it was the activity and now it’s the video (the actual lobbying proceedure). It shows Congress to be the weaker of the two while the Lobbyists are immense in size with the fangs and all.

Basically this says that this man and his humor is taking it one step further. In my opinion this cartoon is taking it to a further step of what could possibly be next. Possibly a videogame?

I found this to be pretty humorous considering the two men speaking are both cavemen. As we all know cavemen were not the most intelligent  people on Earth. As we know monkeys aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed as well. The fact that the caveman is telling his companion that he has put his best men on the job and that they are monkeys states that this whole situation is moronic.

This cartoon depicts how foolish car manufacturers can be and in truth it is somewhat true. They make foolish decisions that are ridiculous. We know that monkeys although are intelligent in nature are incapable at working or making heavy machinery such as constructing a car.

            The next morning George and Jerry meet up in the nearby diner and Jerry comes out with that he and Elaine had sex the previous night. George starts thinking that they are back together but Jerry tells him they’re not and explains the entire situation. George thinks it’s ridiculous and that it will never work. After hearing some of the rules George is somewhat convinced until hearing that staying the night at one another’s apartment is optional.

            At Elaine’s apartment Jerry is getting ready to leave. Elaine however is upset and wants him to stay over. They get into a bit of a dispute but they end up working it out. However, there is still some tension obviously from Elaine.

            George and Jerry are in a local shop and are looking for something to get Elaine for her birthday. Going by Jerry’s current situation with Elaine he can’t see what to get her as a present. Later Jerry gives her his present and ends up giving her cash. She’s very upset again and was expecting something more thoughtful. They both start talking and realize that they can’t go back to friendship at this point and they can’t just have a sexual relationship. Elaine wants to be with him.

            At the diner George and Jerry begin discussing it and George doesn’t see why he doesn’t just go for it and see Elaine officially and make up. The next morning Kramer walks in to greet Jerry and sees Elaine in Jerry’s t-shirt and realizes that they’re a couple once again.

            I personally give this episode a 5 out of 5 rating. This is definitely what I think got Seinfeld viewers looking forward to the following seasons. Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld seemed to really have thought this episode through and were very intelligent on selling it to their audience. Job well done!

            At the apartment they both start thinking of things he could do but none are helpful or in anyway near what George is capable of. Jerry blurts out why not just return to the office and pretend like the whole thing never happened. George thinks of it as a great idea and decides to go through with it.

            When George returns everyone is shocked to see him at the meeting. The boss arrives acting as a pervert with the attractive employees. He asks what George is doing in the conference. George tries to act coy like nothing happened. The boss mocks him and tells him to leave.

            At the Laundromat Jerry is picking up his clothes. George meets him once again and tells him that he’s going to slip his boss a “mickey” at a bar the companies having an annual event at soon. He mentions that Elaine’s going to help out and be a distraction while he slips it in the boss’s drink.

            Back at the apartment Jerry realizes that before he brought his laundry to the cleaners he left $1,500 in the bad to hide while he was away on a trip and now it’s gone. Kramer and Jerry go to the cleaners and the owner tells them that he is not responsible for any lost items.

            Elaine and George are at the bar for the party conspiring. Elaine runs up to the seat right next to George’s boss and begins to flirt with him. He doesn’t seem interested at first until she mentions that she is very interested in nudist colonies and how she always walks around naked. At the same time Kramer and Jerry return to the cleaners out for revenge and dump concrete into the washing machine.

            George makes a move up to the boss while Elaine is still distracting him. He slips him the “mickey” and greets the boss. The boss overly excited about his current situation with Elaine greets George and invites him back to work for him. The boss gives a big toast and welcomes back George to the other employees and drinks up.

            Back at Jerry’s apartment it is clear that the boss knew George was the one responsible for slipping him the drug. Jerry and him start discussing what he could do for a job.  

           I give this episode a 5 out of 5 rating. This episode in so many parts makes me want to do to this  my boss at times. Although George ends up screwing his whole situation I think all of us at one point or another have wanted to do this to our boss but never worked up the courage or stupidity.
